Nascar is very image conscious nowadays.
Have your wife and your sister check out Kenny Schrader one of these
weekends
Why would he have to? Why not just ask him?

......... perhaps he has been grandfathered wrt the 'new_image',
campaign.

If we're gonna discuss image, ......... let's rate the television images
of
the wives/girlfriends during pre-race and anthem. Based on such, Jeff
Gordon
is clearly more successful than Jimmy Johnson
Difference being...Jimmie Johnson actually has an interest in his wife,
while Cole Trickle...err...Jeff Gordon...well...let's just say that I'd
be shocked if that baby ever even remotely resembled him.

But then again, you think Na$car needs more diversity too so......
What's your point?

NASCAR *does* need more diversity. What does that have to do with the
discussion at hand, troll-boy?

Stop hiding your latent tendencies Thomas.
Come on out.......
I'm not gay. Sorry to disappoint you, homophobe.

BTW, your comment was redundant(look it up).

Kevin Harvick was rather hard on 'ol Kurt as I recall.

So, as we were watching the Richmond pre-race Saturday night, my wife
and
sister both noticed that Kevin now has some additional hair occupying
space
on his cranium that was previously vacant. I did a little internet
research,
and son-of-a-gun, they were right. Harv definitely has a furrier "fro"
than
he has had in the past.
His patch is probably a little spotty now.

I mean, the hair has to come from SOMEwhere...

We can always count on you for some in depth, cutting edge, and PERTINENT

That's an interesting assertion. I'm not against diversity at all (as long
as it occurs naturally), but just why do you say so emphatically, that
NASCAR *does* need more diversity?

He does so as to further an agenda.
He guises himself as a "high end educated" (whatever that was supposed to
mean), conservative individual, but does nothing more than spout liberal
clichés, argues against anything even remotely conservative, and questions
the intelligence of anyone with an opposing viewpoint.
His actions are those of a textbook liberal.
Any rational thinking individual understands that "diversity" for the sake
of diversity only, helps no one - except for those who spout the virtues of
the concept, and gain power as a result.
Most conservatives judge people by their actions, not their skin color,
sexual orientation, country of origin, etc. A true liberal feels the need to
point out people's differences as if that is somehow noble, and tries to
mold society to fit their agenda under the premise that this is done so for
the betterment of mankind.
Anyone who bases the validity of their life on the short period of time
spent in college has some deep seeded issues that years of therapy probably
couldn't repair.
I learned far more after I graduated college from life experience than I did
within the boundaries of those four, short years.
Take my advise: killfile him. Other than trumpeting liberal causes and
insulting anyone with an opposing viewpoint, he has nothing else to offer
the ng.

Ah Ha! There is your problem, you only spent 4 years in college. I'm
sure s/he had to have spent many more years in college honing their
particular skill(s)..as if longevity in college does that sort of
thing... ;-)

Naturally is not enough. "Naturally," NASCAR would remain a sport based
in the Southeastern US, with only white drivers, white crew chiefs,
white owners and white fans. Naturally doesn't get it done.

NASCAR needed to and still needs to pump some money into making the
sport more accessible to EVERYONE, for the good of the sport.

That doesn't mean giving Cup rides to people who don't deserve it just
because of their skin color or gender. It means giving them the
opportunity to participate in developmental programs and succeed or fail
on their own merits. It means exposing new demographics to the sport.

Because the redneck bigot said NASCAR doesn't need it.

He does so as to further an agenda.
He guises himself as a "high end educated" (whatever that was supposed to
mean),
Well, those of us who actually graduated high school and pursued a
higher education know what it means. I went to one of the top
universities on the planet. I have a high-end education.

You mean like when I said I support flying the Confederate flag? THAT
kind of liberalism?

What liberal cliches have I spouted?

No, I question the intelligence of small-minded bigots and overt racists.

If you wanted to post an intelligent argument in response to something I
have said, go right ahead. But you're just a mindless troll. You just
namecall and make idiotic comments. You are completely incapable of
constructing a logical argument, so yes, I question your intelligence,
kiddo.

Wow. So I have said we need diversity for diversity's sake?

Cite a quote. With a link.

I never said such a thing. I said NASCAR needs to increase diversity for
MONEY.

Yeah, real liberal concept there. Bring in minority and foreign drivers
to expose NASCAR to new markets and then exploit those markets for
profit. I am channeling Karl Marx now.

*rolls eyes*

It's kind of sad that you are too fucking stupid to even grasp the
concepts I have posted. You don't even bother reading. You just see
"diversity" and assume the person saying it is a liberal.

You embody every stereotype that liberals place on conservatives and
southerners. Please, just kill yourself already. End it. I am trying to
break down stereotypes, and you are here shooting that effort in the foot.

Again, where did I do that?

Did I say that it was noble for the openly gay NASCAR driver to be gay?
Did I say that it was a positive or a negative that he is gay?

Or did I just point out that there is one?

You know, there was a message behind that post, and it's sad that you
are too fucking stupid to have gotten it.

I don't base the validity of my life on college, kiddo. I just pointed
out that you are an ignorant, uneducated, bigoted redneck. I am not
bragging about how valid my life is. I am pointing out how pathetic
yours is.

A couple classes at a community college is not "graduating college," moron.

For someone so highly educated, ...... you lack intuition. This is not to
say that the above scenario will get it done - but "naturally" always gets
it done. That's precisely why you exist !
