If there was a test for stoopid; NFL and NASCAR would be in serious
shit.

As would RASN...

Well, if it stops Mike Joy from making his head go like a fishing bobber
on a pond, then I am all for it.

Not sure why you feel the need to pick on Joy's mannerisms. All I wish he
would do is talk *more* so that DW, LarryMac, & the Hollywood Homo-tel Duo
would talk *less*. Joy is the only guy on the whole broadcast crew worth
listening to.

The head bobbing thing is really compulsive and drives me nuts. I would
put him right up there in the annoyance class with John Madden always
saying "err, umm", or with Theismann saying anything at all.

Homo-tel Duo would talk *less*.

DW is a good announcer. No Jackie Stewart, but he knows quite a bit. I
also like Mikey; so I do not mind when he calls Mikey in the car during
the races.

He's too much of a goof. That "Boogity" x 3 makes me puke.

His voice is tolerable and he seems to know a lot. Just don't put the
camera on him. Also, why can't NASCAR find drivers that are articulate
and used to race so they actually know what they are talking about? They
either find articulate people who never did this for a living; or they
find goober rednecks that cannot speak but can drive the heck out of a
NASCAR taxicab. Well, or they find idiots that cannot speak *AND* never
drove the taxicabs.
If Kyle Petty goes to the booth when he retires, a lot of people will be
happy. He's pretty good at it. I think Wally does a pretty good job, too.

I have an FN-FAL that disagrees with you on the latter point.
The only way to fix stupid is to send the stupid individual on a hunting
trip with Dick Chaney.

And have him yell "I am a quail, I am a quail" while frolicking through
the tall weeds.

Hallicheney - the Forest Gump of snipers.

Cheney is a national hero. He shot a lawyer and got away with it.

Not yet. The lawyer just had a heart attack and therefore upped the ante.
