Anyone else find it ironic that during the lap in which they were honoring
#3, the racer who delivered the fatal blow ending his life cuts a tire?

It was Sterling Marlin, not Rusty. He (Marlin) had been doing it for the
last 5 minutes of the race - trying to get DE loose and pass him.


I believe the initial impact with the wall killed DE instantly.
