Default A man for all seasons - 07-13-2008 , 03:27 PM

I never even saw that movie but it is a good phrase to describe Tony
Stewart. He has won stuff in more series than I care to list and owns his
own big time race track and next season he will become a big time team
owner.

I ain't no fan of Tony Stewart because of his personality and behavior but
he sure must have been born with auto racing in his genes or something.

Tony Stewart must not have much spare time on his hands but if he would just
get him a beard and an image consultant or whatever that sort of coach is
called he could be the white man's Michael Jordan.

Speaking of movies there was a really minor one called "A Blast From the
Past" that had a minor scene that lasted about two seconds and is the reason
I like movies. This guy goes missing and this girl he is trying to hook up
with is rummaging through his hotel room and she gets all misty-eyed when
she sees that he had purchased designer underwear. Earlier in the movie he
got the idea that she liked men who wore another man's underpants, as he
called them.

It may be a matter of goodness or a matter of excellence. Something like
that. Tony Stewart is excellent in that big time auto racing game in spite
of being a tool and sometimes the screenwriters come up with some excellent
stuff even though it is make believe and in a lousy movie. If it were easy
to race cars or write movies everybody would do it.

fool} sir{later saint}thomas moore.
to equate him with fat tony is a bit of a reach.

I did say up front that I never saw the movie. I never even heard of Sir
Saint Thomas Moore. What did he do?

We do not have Sirs and Saints in America but I know what Tony Stewart does.
