What a boring race. For the first time this season, I turned it off at
halfway because I had enough. Why does this track get two races and one
during the chase? The stands looked to be about half full and that tells
you all you need to know about this track.

We drove 2 days to get there 3 yrs ago. What a shit track. Seen better
stock car tracks in the 50s. Owner must have connections.
LOL. The owner is ISC, otherwise known as the France family,
otherwise known as the folks who run NASCAR.

I started going to MVille after they destroyed the racing at Bristol -
You mean after they stopped demolishing all the cars,
running a 1/4 of the race under caution,
and having the rest of it run single file?

I got a new Matco tool box for my wife.
Best trade I ever made...

but stopped going there this year because the mercenary aspect of
close quarters racing has left MVille for some reason. Might be the
CoT, might be "the chase", might be that corporate sponsorship
interests have neutered most of the drivers in cup, might be a little
bit of all of those reasons.
I know what you mean, altho like you I can't put my finger on
exactly what's missing or why. But yeah, there was a time when
every driver drove like JPM did yesterday - fighting to pass
every car possible, any way possible, damn the torpedos full
speed ahead.

And for whatever reason, that's not there any longer (JPM
excepted).
