maybe this will mark the rehabilitation of J. Roush in a bunch of

I'm a Craven fan and I was hoping he would get the 6 ride.

I have my doubts.

well, I dunno... the news is definitely a blow from the perspective of
a Dodge fans who have liked having McMurray in their camp, but it's a
great opportunity for Jamie to show that he can get it done on the
track. I don't like Roush much either, but obviously he has one of
the top programs and best equipment out there. Teaming an excellent
driver like Jamie, with an excellent program like Roush's can only be a
good thing for the both of them.

really?!?!... how shocking. I'm sure that everyone expected you would
get over your McMurray issues just because he switched teams.

Keep up the bitching, Moses ~ seeing you squirm over this signing is
absolutely priceless.

I'm hoping they put Wahd Button behind the wheel of the #6 car for next
season. I'd love to see Wahd take part in a viagara commercial.
I'd pay $1 to see him say "erectile dysfunction" on TV.

I'm squirming? Hell, I hope he wins some races just so all this hyping
of him over the past 3 years will have been worth it.

Because all I have heard over the past three years is how great jamie
mcbackstreet is and have yet to see anything that backs it up. all I
have seen is a consistant top 15 but not good enough for the win car.
Hell, how can you win when you can't even lead a friggin' lap until
almost midway through the season???

Who cares 'who' he drives for?
If you like the kid, don't you want to see him
contend for the title?

I just don't know why there is such animosity for an owner like there
is
Jack
Roush.

The only one that comes close in here is Rick Hendrick, and that's
mostly
from
the trolls who can't resist putting "felon" in the same sentence
every
time they
type "Rick Hendrick."

There's no such vitriol for Gibbs or Penske or Childress or Evernham

IMO, it is partly because he is (or quite often used to be) the first
one
in
line to accuse a dominant team of cheating.

Exactly, and you know what they say - the best defense is a good
offense. I suspect the Cat has cheated for years, and still is, but he
always is in front, leading the accusatory chorus.

N.

Exactly!! How many times has he been caught? I know they all do it, but
hell, why cry so loudly about someone else when your doing it yourself. I
suppose it's to take the attention off of himself.
I do wish JM the best of luck, and am glad he's with an owner he can win
with, but damn how I wish it were a different owner.
That's me, I like Jamie Mac, but the sour grapes that poured out of Jack
Roush for decades prior to the past few years, if you can excuse the pun,
simply left me with a bad taste. It isn't "vitriol" as it was put. No, it is
more accurately a long/good memory of Jack Roush pre-plane crash, pre-Cup
titles. He lead the entire whine crowd through the 80s and 90s IMHO. Except
for Dale Sr at the plate tracks, of course. (And I am a Sr fan, so save the
flames please, we ALL know Senior used to bitch about every plate race he
was in, even when he won...)
