Default Nascar in-car audio - 05-13-2007 , 01:20 PM

I am on TWC, I can listen to ALL drivers except Dale Jr, any
thoughts???? Nascar.com chat just say's all is working but he's just
not saying anything. I have not heard one thing from the begining of
the race, even durring pit stops.

I have free Track Pass with my ISP, NO audio from Jr for 4 wks now. I
just thought it was because I have a limited version, but I guess
there is a problem.

from the 8 team

I'm pretty sure The Weather Channel does not carry #8 communications.

lol Good'en Cru.

Didn't try TrackPass yesterday on Time Warner Cable (the *other* TWC),
but heard plenty of 8 team chatter on HotPass.

Observations-

on Junior:

1) They didn't sound any different than anytime in the past 7 years on
the team comms. (notable given the announcement made this week) They
worked hard on bettering the car throughout the race, and almost got a
top 5 with a 12-15th place car. Not bad IMO.

2) Junior was very humbled in apologizing for giving up those 5-6
positions there after the last pit stop, and fessed up before Steve
Hmiel (his spotter) could tell the team each time he scrubbed the
wall. Anyone who thinks this kid is a prima dona is simply a hater and
is not giving him a fair chance.

in General:

3) Looks like the CoT is going to end up actually working. If it can
survive a trip to Darlington, it's ready to go anywhere IMO. They
still don't drive worth a crap based on ALL the driver audios I
listened in on between Sirius and HotPass, but they physically appear
up to the task of "big track running" after this weekend.

4) If no one can get a clamp on Hendrick, the title will be up for
grabs between only 2 people: Gordon and Johnson. This early, I'd have
to take JG. His baby is nearly here, and the Drive for 5 is getting
old, time to take care of it for good. Add in Junior leaving DEI in
the same year, and this year of "firsts" says that JG will be the man.
Of course that all rests on JG's ability to nurse/assist a baby at 3AM
and still be ready at race time each Sunday...lol
