Default NASCAR.COM - 01-17-2006 , 09:33 PM

NASCAR.COM *still* doesn't have the 2006 schedule online.

You guys were right. They are losers.

psssst...Julia.... don't look now, but there is no race name, TV station or
start time on that schedule.

That schedule has been on the site since a week or so after the last race of
last year. :-)

Are you setting your DVR for the entire season?

I see the jabs the others gave ya, but I know what you meant. There isn't a
"finalized" schedule posted yet.

Honestly, it's that way every year. They're closing deals daily for race
sponsorships and so forth. It is usually quite close to the D500 before
everything is set. Some years, late year races still won't have sponsors or
"names" of races until after the D500 even. So don't fret, too much, this is
typical of NASCAR.

Not my VCR armpit, I enter all the dates and times into my electronic personal
organizer. I do the same for Pro & College Football. My memory is so bad at
times that I need to do that.

I would have thought that this stuff would have been finalized by now. Usually
people want a long lead time for promotional preperation. You know. Like a
magazine this month is working on the April issue. Oh well, that is the way it
is. :-)

No, that approach would make too much sense...and yup, that is the way it
is, and has been, for some time.

Hey Paul - Last year I found a site that had a feature that downloaded all
of the raced schedule to my Outlook. Here - keep this link.

http://www.calendar-updates.com/sports/motorsports.aspx

After NASCAR publishes the schedule, go to this site and you can download
the schedule. It will provide you with the Date, Time, Channel, Venue, Race
Name. You can do the same with all of the NFL, etc. Saves having to input
all that stuff.

Thanks. That will be great if it works with my organizer.
