Speaker Hastert Stumps for Competitiveness, Jobs, & Diversity
(USNewswire) WHAT: House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) will
recognize the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing
(NASCAR) and its effort to diversify and create job opportunities
for African Americans through a collaboration with Historically
Black Colleges and Universities. During the press conference, the
Speaker will discuss the President's "American Competitiveness
Initiative" introduced in the State of the Union address and the
need to inspire America's youth into jobs and careers involving
math and engineering.
