The real test of your redneckese though comes with, do you like your
BBQ "chopped" or "pulled"? ;-) (he says, patting his tummy that is
still full of BBQ from the lunch buffet at the local BBQ & fish
house...umm, with some hushpuppies and sweet tea too LOL!)

Chopped... and it's a fish CAMP, not a fish house. But, you got the
rest of it right.
When you two obvious Yankees are done; it's called a catfish den.

Folks down Suth are just quicker to talk about it - we are Republican states down here. Northerners are all smacked down by left->wing Democrat ACLU lawsuits so often that they are afraid to acknowlege that there is even more than one race on this planet. Look >at RASN - half of us live up North. How many Black folks are on RASN? How many White RASN folks are married to Black, >Oriental, or Hispanic women (or men)? Now even though we are all married to Whites; as soon as we say "I would never even >consider dating a Black, let alone marrying one" we are labeled white-hood wearing KKK racists. Go figure.

Hmm ... y'know, Hammer, I'm a Republican, most likely one of the most
conservative you'd meet, and I don't sit around contemplating whether
or not I'd marry someone of another race. Fact is your comments do make
you sound like a racist. I don't know whether you are or not but I feel
as though we all must do our part to be tolerant - it's wrong when
Farakkan rants on about the "white devils" and it is wrong when the
Klan rants about "niggers." Thank God this is America and we all have
the right to express an opinion but if one uses that right to express a
racist opinion they must be prepared to be labled a racist.

And it does not make you a racist to do so. Are you White? If so, have
you ever married a Black woman? Been engaged to one? Lived with one? Why
not - why only Whites? 1 out of ever 10 woman is Black here in USA - has
1 out of every 10 of your serious girlfriends been Black? How about your
family tree - while in USA; has 1 out of 10 people in your family been
Black? We are not talking about "white devil" or "nigger" - we are
talking about cohabitating with someone from another race. How often have
you done that?

BBQ'd what? (*)

Pork, everyone knows, chickens gets fried.
There are benighted heathen in some parts of the country who'll
assert BBQ means beef brisket. They are, of course, mistaken;
you can cook brisket BBQ style, but when you say "BBQ" with no
qualifiers it means pig.

well, here we are - nascar's contemptable comments, via mike helton, about
what they >think of their southern roots - just one more nail in the
coffin they are building for >themselves...

http://www.thatsracin.com/mld/thatsracin/13886931.htm

Depends on one's definition of "redneck."
I prefer the term 'slack jawed yokel'. LOL.

Soon 1 of 10 in the Cup field will be black. Probably not one of the black

So now when you don't agree with someone they must be a Republican? You do
not have the brain power to even try to keep up with Liberal Lloyd; so
don't even try; fucktard. ^K

No, it doesn't make you racist but to be having a conversation with
your friends where the phrase "I don't have anything against blacks but
I wouldn't marry one" is uttered hints at bigotry and is likely thinly
disguised racism. That said, people have the right to be racist and
express it in America, thank God, in Canada, a lot of eastern Europe,
and elsewhere one can be imprisoned for expressing such views.

Yes

lol> Do you realize that your statistics show that my chance of dating
a white female is 90%. You have defeated the argument you were trying
to make.
Quote:

Your knowledge of statistics is skewed ... the rate of blacks in
America (closer to 13%) has no relation whatsoever with my family tree,
or yours, or anyone else for that matter. We start getting into my age,
where I'm from, etc. Get it?

I haven't. I simply made an observation about Helton, the use of the
term "Redneck."
