That will certainly make it easier to fix the race for Junior

Care to explain your logic?

Sure. Just like NASCAR fixed Daytona so his dad could win, NASCAR will
ensure that #8 gets the call.

I most certainly hope so. A win is a win.

Funny. Tony backed them into a corner. After Tony's warning, if
something happened along the lines Tony predicted, the plaintiffs would
own NASCAR.

Funny stuff.

I have this idea...

They are not going to allow bump drafting in the corners..... The first
one to get nailed for this... who do you think it will be????

With this rule, a Rousch victory is cemented. Jr.& Mikey get DQ'd for
thinking about BDrft. TS brings up the rear @40mph.

Wow, that actually sounds like you're suggesting they run "stock cars"
out there.

They can't do that. This is NASCAR.
Yeah, I know. Silly me.

What I see is NASCAR screwing up a VERY popular formula to the point where
it will no longer resemble what made it popular in the first place. I can't
wait to see the fans leaving once the COT is introduced.

Above 50 is not cold.
Back when I was living in South Florida, I have seen it freeze as far south
as Palm Beach County. (I apologize for the bad grammar ahead of time)

At night. Anyway, 32 isn't that cold. When Florida hits freezing
overnight, they're above 50 for the daytime high.

With no wind, 25 and under is cold.
No argument there. When I was living down there, I used to call my friends
up in Maine during the winter and tease them.

They'll stay. It's not racing to them; it's marketing. It's also a sport
they can follow that doesn't require them to get outside and practice it.

Ever see how most people throw?

What sport requires its fans to get outside and practice it? Certainly none
of the majors.

Unbelievable. They stick those stupid plates on the cars and make it
so
you can't pass without bumping, then they outlaw bumping. Duh.

The simpler solution would, of course, be to take away the strength
from the
front bumper. Ideally, this should have been done before the
beginning of
the season. It's not like this is a new problem.

This idea has a lot of support from the talking heads, no doubt.
If they don't fix it, somehow (beyond some subjective rule), then I say
go
back to the roof blades, taller spoilers, and wicker bills. The NBS
seems to
get by ok with that package. And drivers and commentators alike seem to
think it was a good package now that we're where we are today.

I can see why u would vote for the TaxiCab package, Sim.
5 races from 10/00 DE's last win thru 10/01 only RAD cars won!
But since there's no more RAD, i'll vote for the TaxiCabs too
Of course if i were in charge of NA$CAr/ISC, i would repave Daytona
with progressive banking of no more than 24 degrees. Plates go POOF!
CRU

Yes, I like the Taxi package in the NBS, which is basically a package that
makes the cars more like the trucks, which also put on great "plate track"
shows of late. But before we get to knocking down the banking, lessee how
well these COTs can navigate the tracks. Unless this wing thing works out,
the word is they're too squirrely to drive wide open around the big tracks,
in traffic anyway. So the fix may already be at hand in the form of the new
cars, we'll just have to wait and see.

Uh, Tony Stewart?

Shouldn't have challenged the NASCAR mafia, Tony.
