There will be competition cautions every X amount of laps, to be determined by the length of the race and fuel mileage window of each individual track. The field will be frozen, cars will pit and restart as they were running when the caution flew. Teams will be allowed 30 seconds to complete their stop and resume their position. More than 30 seconds and they are required to start at the rear of the pack for the restart. |

Maybe they could drop the announcers altogether and just have race control on the broadcast. They should probably look into televising the inspection process too. |

IMHO if it was so important to NASCAR then they should have built it into the rules way back then.
