I keep getting an erro saying there are no messages on the server. Is

this reply, anyway. FWIW, the correct thing to do in your
situation is to check Google Groups and see if there's any
posts there.

In any event, one of three things has occured:

1) your server is hosed. Pretty unlikely, but might be the
problem.

2) your server has reset it's article numbering, and therefor
your newsreader thinks it's already read all the articles.
That's a nasty thing for the server admin to do, but it happens
sometimes.

3) your newsreader's newssrc file is hosed, and therefor it
thinks it's read articles it really hasn't.
