I don't care what they call them. A beginning Busch driver shouldn't
have to compete against the 4 or 5 Rousch cup drivers, Harvick,
Burton, Mears, Waltrip, etc., just to make it into a race. How can
they get better if they can't even get in the race because 19 cup guys
are in it?

I can't agree more, it should make seats for the Busch races more available
and far cheaper. Hell, it might even save the car owners money, they could
pay the Busch guys less.

But that was the original problem to begin with. Nobody was going to the
Busch races so Nascar suggested to some of the bigger teams to get
involved to help ticket sales and TV viewership. It did and I doubt
Nascar is going to back away from allowing cup drivers to race in the
Busch series as long as it drives ticket sales and TV ratings.

Regards,
SK

Last I checked, it's a free country. I understand what you are saying,
but you can't limit a person's right to work for a day's wages.
Except that no one is guaranteed a job in the US. And if NASCAR-nation
wanted to limit such access, it'd definitely be within their governing
rights to do so.

That said, I'd like limits on the amount of cars in a stable, just to
open the options to more teams.

know, on principle, if it'll certainly work or not."

The big car owners (Hendrick, Roush, Gibbs, Earnhardt, etc) put newbies in
the cars when they need to get someone ready to move up to Cup. I think the
system is fine, as-is.
