Default Official rules and entry post - 02-15-2006 , 12:25 PM

This is the hundred dollar game I mentioned previously. The winner at the
end of the season gets one hundred dollars.

Pick five drivers for the Daytona 500. You get the points they score at the
end of the race and a 50 point bonus if you pick the top three finishers.
Any deduction NASCAR may make later in the week do not matter. It is scored
on race day points.

Your five drivers for Daytona will carry over for the next race unless you
change them. You can change them or not change them as you wish. It makes
me no nevermind. Scores will be posted weekly.

My picks

Jamie McMurray
Jeff Gordon
Tony Stewart
Jimmy Johnson
Kyle Busch

Do the top three have to be in order to get the 50 bonus points?

My picks:

Stewart
Khane
Hamlin
Junior
Truex

Carey in Manvel

No. That would be like a confidence pool in which you align your picks in
order of strength. In this case you just have to have the top three
finishers among your five picks to get fifty bonus points.

Three quick questions:
-What's the deadline? Green flag? Start of tv coverage? Midnight the
night prior?
-Can you change your picks as much as you want up to that deadline?
-How would a tie at season's end be broken?

The deadline is the honor system. NASCAR fans do not cheat.

If you want to change your pick before the race starts go ahead and change
it.

There will not be a tie after 36 races and 180 picks unless two or more
people pick the same five drivers for the Daytona 500 and never ever change
them.

Two more things...

No new players after the Daytona 500. It would be impossible to catch up.

I will not bother to score nuisance picks that consist of all non-winning
drivers. Andy Belmont may be a good ole boy but he is not a suitable pick
in this game.
