Ah, the Lady in Black AND a race named the Southern 500. ALL would be
right in the world if the race was on Labor Day, but I digress!!!

Tony Stewart PB
Ryan Newman (who will have a crappy week, just because I choose him!)
Kyle Busch (WHY did I NOT take him at Richmond? ;-))
Kasey Kahne (let's see if the reverse kiss of death works for drivers
having crummy previous weeks!)
Jeff Burton (he likes this track for some reason!)
and for fun
Marcos Ambrose (because I LOVE that accent!)
Sandy THT
(Mine that Bird gives new meaning to another gear, for those who
watched the Kentucky Derby! 20 horsepower is a gorgeous sight on ANY
day in THT's world!!!)

We are glad you liked it but the twin disasters of Barbaro and Eight Bells
has kind of turned the general public off of horse racing.

Too bad, because there is NOTHING more beautiful than a Thoroughbred
in full gallop! There is just something about all that sleek skin and
muscles rippling that make my heart sing!
Sandy, THT
(whose 16 year old retired from racing Thoroughbred likes to get
tearing around the pasture like he is reliving HIS days of glory!
Reason to Shout made about $58,000 in his 3 and 4 year old years and
except for arthritis, he is still going well! However, the occasional
Rodeo bucking bronc imitation gets a LITTLE old, trust me!)

They are noble animals for sure. There is this century old story about some
fire horse who was running off to a fire and clipped his whole foot off in a
railroad or trolley track but just kept on running all the way to the fire.

People who put animals into their life are always good people with a heart
of gold and the soul of an angel.
Everyone does not love God because they are mad about one thing or another
but most people with a heart love animals.
