Ok, so I think you are yanking everyone's chain about the Labor Day
weekend race being at the wrong place, but hey, at least it is in
Atlanta, which is considered by many to be a Southern venue! ;-)

I still refer to the race on Memorial Day as the World 600, the July
4th weekend race as the Firecracker 400, etc. so I am aware of the
travesty of Darlington NOT having the Labor Day race called the
Southern 500! Sadly, the day of non-corporate named races at most
venues is long, long gone.

But at least this Labor Day race is in the South and not that foreign
country of California!
