Default One reason BMW didn't want F1 without KERS - 09-01-2009 , 02:24 AM

"BMW's futuristic Vision Efficient Dynamics concept hybrid car, revealed
overnight ahead of next month's Frankfurt motor show, blends Porsche
performance with hybrid car economy.

The radical two-door - which can carry four people and two sets of golf
clubs - gives a glimpse of a high performance BMW of the future.

It is capable of storming to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds while using a claimed
average of 3.8 litres of fuel per 100km. That's as quick as the most
affordable Porsche 911 with fuel use 0.1L/100km less than the world's best
selling hybrid car, Toyota's Prius."

What is it with car designers/marketers and golf clubs? I remember Jeremy
Clarkson a few years back lamenting the fat arse on a new Jag and he said
that there was an instruction sent to the designers that it must hold golf
clubs.

Oh well, I guess it could be worse. They could be into caber tossing.
