Shawshank Redemption (from a story by the inestimable Stephen King) has been
replaced as the guy movie by No Country For Old Men. In the movie called No
Country For Old Men some guy is talking about the bad guy. The other guy
says that he saw him. The first guy asks, you saw him, and you ain't dead?
That has to be the best guy movie line ever. You saw him, and you ain't
dead?
You do not get that sort of thing in a "Sex in the City" movie. They saw
him and he ran away because the crazed New York bitch was a crazy freak.
Not exactly the same thing.
Not that it matters to anything but in the NCFOM book the bad guy did not
have any enemies. Anybody who bothered him, he just killed them. Even more
than what they showed in the movie.
At the end he took 1.9 of 2 million dollars to the drug kingpin and said
that from now on he is in charge of traffic and there will be no more
mistakes. |
