Sure he does...to the Busch or truck series where he belongs.

Or maybe the vacated Truex ride at DEI.
mcmurray is too washed up for DEI, just as dale jr. proved to be!

LOL. *Of course, DEI still has Almirola under contract, and
IMO Almirola has a lot more potential than McMurray.

John

DEI will be lucky if the sponsors don't pull out on some clause
written into their contract. *I think it would be great to see that
happen.- Hide quoted text -

How now? *Petty drove for Holman-Moody....

Come on John, I'm pretty sure the majority of NASCAR fans (especially
one that is 18yrs old) associate RP with two things, Dodge and STP.

?????
He'd been running Pontiacs since '82.
yeah, but that was based on economics. richard and the other pettys
made themselves famous, and yes, rich, racing dodge and those hemis -
at least until NASCAR banned the historic hemis, protecting the other
brands!

He'd been running Pontiacs since '82.

Prior to that, RP ran Plymouths, and in 1969 he drove a *gasp* Ford
Torino Talladega, as Chrysler Corp didn't have a car that was
competitive on the superspeedways. He rejoined Plymouth in 1970 when
they introduced the Superbird.

Richard Petty's cars: (in no particular order, ran more than one some yrs)

Oldsmobile
Plymouth
Dodge
Ford
Chevrolet
Buick
Pontiac

In addition to, Petty Enterprises also ran:

Chrysler
Valiant

When I think of RP the 80's aren't the first thing that come to mind,
the 70's are. I just checked and all but one of his championships were
either in a Plymouth or Dodge (which are the same thing anyway).
