Default PING Sim Racer - 02-17-2006 , 10:10 AM

Let me try this post again. I think I sent a post without typing any
text...duh :-)

You're going love this one.
My next door neighbor quit Roush this past Monday( a good
thing).......Starts at RCR Tuesday after Daytona (a great thing). Hour
drive from Concord, but he's going to share the ride up to Welcome with
another employee for RCR who also happens to live here in Concord.

Woo-hoo....I'm thinking how I can work on this angle to get some neat
stuff :-) He's getting to be a good friend and we help each other out
on and off.

LOL! Great news...someone is sneaking back over from the Dark Side. ;-) J/K

That'll be neat I reckon, having a neighbor in the RCR camp, though he was
already a neighbor in the Roush camp. Here's hoping this isn't just a
lateral move for him, and RCR can get back into the thick of things this
season. An aquaintance of mine was offered a job in RC's engine shop last
year (Jeff Taylor, Comp Racer from the NHRA) but turned it down. Richard
needed higher profile people like he brought in from Cosworth IMO anyway, to
get his stuff turned in the right direction.

My own neighbor and I were discussing this very weekend how we need to get
out there to see Richard's new museum. Neither of us has been since he
opened the new one. Seen it, from afar, at a wedding at his vineyard last
year, but that's it.
