I don't think Burton is even close to the "most owners" leader.

I'd bet that Morgan Shepherd leads that list by a considerable margin
all-time, while I'd imagine that either Ken Schrader, Bill Elliott, or
Sterling Marlin would lead the list of active drivers

Appears to be Joe Nemechek, with 11 different owners. Even if you
don't limit it to full schedule drivers, I kinda think he's got
the most (by my count, Mayfield has 10 and Shrader has 8, and no-one
else comes to mind as having driven for a bunch of owners).

Just 3 for Burton - a couple of years with the Stavola brothers
back in the dark ages, then Roush then Childress.
