Wheels, u just gotta visit this (NA$CAR) racin' website:
http://racing-reference.com/index.jsp

ab1 has compiled the most comprehensive & accurate historical stats
i have seen. He's working hard to add much more to his site.
Just so u & i can head off needless disagreements about who's stats
are more accurate, i suggest a visit to ab1's site & maybe have an
email exchange with him.

If any endorsements other than my own are necessary, bp & Frank Dwyer
may also provide their's. Basically 'The Statmen' are down to 'We 3',
but certainly would welcome back Wheeler Stats

Thanks, Cru!

This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. In fact, I was going to ask
you if you knew of any resources like this on the net. I have full
results for every race from 1949-1979, and 1990-present. I've been
missing the eighties for quite a while. That's the only thing keeping
my pet project from coming to fruition. I can't give hints, but I hope
to have it done before the start of next season. Should be fun for the
group.

Thanks again.

But, I still say Bobby Allison only has 84 ;-)

Yesterday someone dropped a gift at the house for me ya'll would love
it. Its a book called
NASCAR Chronicle by Greg Fielden.Has a brief history about the start
of NASCAR, about 3-4 pages per year (1947-2003)
of photos and stats from each year.Very nice coffee table book if you
have not seen it.:-)
