Hello- I have a question- I have a ton (well over 200 and alot of duplicates) of mostly early 90's post cards, from when I was attending Martinsville races on a regular bases. I'm starting my spring cleaning early and trying to move alot of older NASCAR collectibles, and I'm wondering if it's better to put the post cards on ebay and pay the stiff fees, or sell them as a group. Included are some of the early Earnhardt championship cards, Gordon cards, Labonte slim Jim cards, just to name a few. If anyone here is interested or can provide some input-please drop me a line. thanks in advance- |

First of all, you don't have to be a rude Gordon fan, when asking a simple question. And yes; some people in here may be interested-and three; obviously you can't read, as I posted no contact information! Many of the trailers back in the early 90's, you had to ask for the cards, getting only 1 or 2. You didn't just "walk up and grab a stack". Many of the folks here can tell you that. And at the bigger names like Earnhardt and Gordon-You had to purchase 35$, 100% cotton T-shirt that shrunk the first time, just to get a post card. They used to have signs on the trailer, that said "post card with a purchase". And whether or not you realize it-these cards do gain value over the years, and have been posted from time to time in various price guides. The post cards where the only cards you could get of you favortie driver, prior to the mass produced press pass and maxx baseball size cards. |

I doubt that I could have shown as much restraint in the face of such stupidity. I commend your civility comment armpit |
