Or, you should find another sport to follow so we don't have to listen to your whining. |

NASCAR should reschedule and make sure fans get into the race without problem. NASCAR makes out big on days like this because they know not many fans will show up, and there is no TV coverage on top of that. They're showing it on TV on ESPN as far as I could tell from the broadcast today. Or am I missing something? yes, the fact that therace they showed was last weeks race from Indy. |

The IRL races on ovals in the rain? Ovals are a different story ................... and Pocono doesn't really qualify as an oval. Drying an oval is a doable task .............. drying Pocono (or any other road/street track) before the sun sets is futile. On these big spacious tracks, ... just put rain gear on and run. The goddamn thing already takes FOUR hours to run, are you looking for an endurance race at Pocono? The NW race that was run in the ran last yr sucked, btw. |

NASCAR should otherwise offer a full refund of fan ticket price and give the fan a free t-shirt. Yeah, and then people would be bitching that they only ran to halfway and should have waited until tomorrow. Doesn't matter WHAT Nascar did, people are going to complain. If you can't make it on Monday, then you lose. That is the risk you take. That risk might prevent some people from buying tickets. Giving them some sort of option, like a discount for a future race ticket, might end up being more profitable than the current situation for some tracks. That "risk" hasn't prevented any such issue so why should you raise that as a "concern" now? I think you need to spend some time understanding what tracks do really offer ticket holders Chad, and what the acceptance of that has been over the years. You're coming up with ideas to solve a problem that does not exist beyond the minds of a handful of not-so-bright posters here. |

| NASCAR could give people who hand their tickets back in a voucher for a 50% discount to any other race they choose, so the tracks still get their money and the fans get some incentive to come back, instead of just a disappointing experience. |

Why? The fans haven't needed any incentive since 1949. They are still coming back. What is the percentage of NASCAR races that have been run on Monday instead of Sunday because of weather? And what percentage of those fans present on Sunday couldn't attend the race on Monday? There is waaaaay too much being made out of this. |
