The country's largest minority group accounted for one-half of the overall population growth of 2.9 million between July 2003 and July 2004, according to a Census Bureau report being released Thursday. The agency estimated there are 41.3 million Hispanics in the United States. The bureau does not ask people about their legal status; that number is intended to include both legal and other residents. OUTBREED! OUTNUMBER! OUTVOTE! At this point America does not meet the criteria for "nation". A nation is a group that shares a similar genetic, culture, and historical background. Now America is a "political state". Not that I care, but where did you get that definition of "nation?" I don't recall having seen it before. In fact, the word "Nation" was in common use, with much the same meaning it has today, long before genetics was discovered! Al Moore DoD 734 |
