Nope.

I can remember a race at either Talladega or Daytona a few years ago
(don't remember exactly which one) but Jr. had some problems and was
running completely by himself, with no one to draft with a full half
lap behind the entire pack.

I think it was Fox doing the race that day and they had the camera
following Jr's lone car for a fair number of laps. It looked really
absurd. The entire pack of cars racing up ahead in the distance but
the camera was covering a single driver putting around the track by
himself.

If Martians had picked up the signal that day and didn't know any
better, they would have thought the USA broadcasts one car races!

Oh yeah, well aware! Betcha he's also The Man for the next 11 races
to be shown on ABC. Somehow, some way he needs to be dethroned
for the next 7 years of the ESPN/ABC TV contract!!!!!!!

are Jr. fans. It's the same with golf and Tiger Woods.
The rest of us fans are going to have to live with it.

about every race, ........... and is definitely in the chase.

The difference is that Tiger is actually GOOD at his job versus "the
prince" that has never done anything in cup other than be born with the

I understand your point, but you must understand

that racing is fueled by marketing. Jr. is the most
popular driver. Jr. sells the most merchandise.
If you have ever been to a nascar race, Jr fans come
out in droves.

ESPN would be stupid if they didn't give Jr more
than his fair share of air time. That's just the unbiased
truth. IMHO!
