Was a lot better than some of the other people they've had in the past.

He was a lot better than Aretha Franklin and what's his name that sang
before the Super Bowl.

BTW, he's the singer from the group Staind.

He wasn't bad... that's just his style of singing. Doesn't sound any
different from the way he sang in that one song with Fred Durst... I'm on
the outside... I'm lookin' in... I can see through you... etc

My only problem with it was the tempo at which he sang it. Other than that,
at least he didn't cut it up like a lot of the "stars" seem to want to do.

I think that was my biggest problem with it as well ~ it's gotta be
done in under a minute..... I wasn't crazy about the voice, but I
coulda tolerated it if I knew it was gonna be over quick.

Yay! First National Anthem post of the official season!!

He was awful. He was off-key most of the time, but was so in love with
the sound of his own voice that he sang the lyrics in slow motion.
Seriously, if he'd been any slower, he would've been in reverse. I
started and finished an entire quilt top while he was singing the
Anthem.
