What the drivers need to do is form some kind of union. Not that I'm a
big fan of unions but it seems to me that most drivers on there own
really don't have much of any clout to go up against NASCAR.

It wouldn't matter - economics say that there will always be someone
to race and people to work in the pits. It's not like the drivers
aren't voluntarily participating. I do think the owners would have
clout if they would all band together, but why should they? There's
another good driver just waiting in the wings.
