so it is okay for spike lee to stereotype in SCHOOL DAZE, yet not okay for imus to reference that movie on his show doing the exact same schtick? |

It struck me as rather odd that the mos' "revrund" Je$$e Jack$on would have the gall to criticize Imus' stupid but truthful remark after his own insensitive but factual reference to New York City as "Hymie-town"! |

If the absolute worse thing that ever happens to those girls, for the rest of their lives, is that a guy that none of them knew, said something that none of them heard, and did so without malice, they will be a lot more fortunate than most of us.... Now that the Imus lynch mob has repeatedly said how they also find the rap/hip-hop culture to be every bit as offensive, I hope we are kept abreast of which record companies, and which artist/producers are being targeted first to be fired as well. We'll see.... my money? There won't be any. |
