They found him dead in one, in his bathroom. They pulled out the enima

Keep in mind I don't follow NASCAR. I have this little Hot Wheels
car. It's light blue, red on the sides. It has STP emblems on it,
and a big number "43" on the top and smaller "43" on the sides. My
eyes are not so great any more, but it looks like the trunk lid has
tiny emblem that says "Tribute to Petty". Was Tom Petty involved with
NASCAR? Was he an owner or something?
Naw, it was a tribute to Elvis Petty, who died in a Convair 990 crash in
Memphis. The plane can still be seen in the Graceland parking lot.
$1 to Col. Tom.

I'm pretty sure he was - he wrote a couple of songs for NASCAR -
"Runnin' Down a Dream" and "I won't Back Down" for certain and some
will argue that "Breakdown" and "Learning to Fly" were written back
when he owned a team. Personally, I think that "Free Fallin'" was
also written with the experience in mind - but I could be wrong.
Also, there is some question as to whether or not "American Girl"
refers to Jeff Gordon or to his many girlfriends.

Those planes are unsafe at any altitude.

No, no, no - you have this all rong. You're thinking of Hank
Williams.
