They say all unusual hot and cold temperatures are caused by global warming (tm). That way they cover themselves against all eventualities including an ice age. Graham If this Global Warming is true and if it continues because it's too late to stop it now, the planet will soon explode from the gravity force vs the rise in temps. If the polar caps continue to melt at exponential rates, we may have about 22 more years before the place begins resemble Saturn. |

Melting the ice caps will make the Earth into a hydrogen gas giant? If the ice caps were to melt, the Earth would quickly freeze over and become a snowball. It wouldn't resemble Saturn, it would resemble, well, a snowball. -Thomas |
