I think the purpose of it is to show what happens in wrecks where
there wasn't a good camera angle of what happened. Yet, for some
inexplicable reason, the Fox producers only use it replaying wrecks
that were filmed well from multiple angles, or for showing the cars
pacing behind the pace car.

Tonight for example. They couldn't show it to show what happened
between the 11 and 25, but they could use it to show the running order
behind the pace car.

They should just get some diecast cars and DW and the boys can play with

No....it doesn't. it would have more appeal to people my age, that played
the original NES and/or Sega. That is the equivalent of the graphics.
