This is what I recall - maybe not actually saying it was the 24's fault, but he kept hammering that number.... whatever, he should have kept quiet, like Kyle Busch has learned to do (mostly). LOL. N. I think you are reading too much into JJ's comments. |
insulted JJ's driving accomplishments, so the reporters
ran over to JJ to ask him what happened over and over
again. I thought he described it the situation the best
he could. Just because he says, "the 24 drove underneath
me and got me loose," (to paraphrase) doesn't mean he's
whining, because that's what happened. I thought his
assessment was spot on.

KB was understandably angry after the race and childishly insulted JJ's driving accomplishments |
while acknowledging he is a good champion...
I think you missed that part...
But... like most do, people tend to hear what they want,
from those that they want.

I'm with Nancy here, Mike. First off, when Johnson initially got into Busch, Gordo wasn't close enough to Johnson to get him loose. Johnson did a 4 wheel slide into Busch, then Busch paid him back for that & the slam at Sonoma. I don't think Johnson takes responsibility for his mistakes as often as he should. |
