Poor troll, there boy. Try your luck back in the NASCAB newsgroup where
the
dumbasses reside. You're only demonstrating the abject ignorance of the
average NASCAB fan with your ignorant comments.

Paul Tracy is assured about five more NASCAR starts this season and us
knowledgeable fans expect the same result.

Well Paul's finishing postion is in no way an indicator of how he actually
ran. First the damage he got was in a wreck where a couple of cars spun
in
front of him and put enough smoke down on the track that no one could see.
You can not miss what you can not see.

Bending the hood up likely caused some engine damage whether it was from
impact or potential damage to the cooling system. If it just let go, then
nothing would have mattered to that point in the first place.

Till that point he was running in the top ten in a car he has very little
seat time in. Fact is most of the Nascar drivers are marginal to awful
road
racers with a few exceptions. This is especially true of the Busch series
that for a while had no road course on the schedule at all and the cup
series only has 2. Its not that they couldn't be good road racers. They
just don't do enough of them to be any good at them. That's how guys like
Boris Said can come in with minimal seat time in that type of car and look
so good.

Paul has very little seat time in a stock car, but is an outstanding road
racer. The regulars have tons of seat time in those types of cars, but
hardly ever run a road race. Kind of evens things out a bit.

Considering that Tracy wants to make the move to Nascar, I thought his
participation in this race was a waste of time. If he wanted to run only 7
races to preserve his rookie status, he should have stuck with ovals, where
any experience he would have gotten would have been far more valuable.

So does finishing in thirty-seventh place.

Ringers finish at the back because it is very hard to drive a Crown Vic when
Ladke isn't working in the pits and Louie isn't on the microphone. Can't
they find American ringers?

The N in NASCAR is for national. Paul Tracy is not a national and does not
belong there.

That's OK - nobody was rooting for him anyway. With Tracy gone, that
opens up an opportunity for Todd Bodine; who has a great following with fans
of Hair Club for Men.

I thought Todd was a spokesman for a billiards company...
