It's impossible for a mediocre driver or team to accomplish this feat. |

was my point. No one said it would be easy to string together 10 top 10's
............. but that task would certainly be easier than trying to string
together 10 wins in the last 10 while trying to catch Tony (if the old point
scoring system were in place). While I do like the concept of the chase for
some added 'interest' down the stretch, this year is a classic example of
what the traditionalists do not like ... i.e. Tony has been the best to date
(over 26 races) - by quite a margian wrt consistency ............. and he is
now essentially penalized and the rest of them rewarded for the duration of
the season.
