Funny, most of what I read in Lamont's cut-n-paste job didn't suggest anything contradicting David's remarks. As a matter of fact, Lamont's post reinforces most of what David stated. Quite frankly, I was wondering which side of the argument Lamont was on, cause the article provided seemed to contradict the notion that "Bush obtained all with no effort." |

The article quite accurately described that Bush was only offered in on the deal only because of his name and family connections, that Bush used those connections to secure taxpayer financing of the operation, and that Bush dishonorably stiffed the city of Arlington to the tune of seven million dollars. What Bush obtained in the deal was not through any effort or talent. Bush was born with a silver spoon in his nose and a bourbon bottle in his mouth and his entire life reflects it. |
