That wouldn't bother me too much, really. We've all had our time to

always thought the Wrangler car looked better anyhow.

Before a non-Earnhardt drives the 3; NASCAR should just retire the number.
No different than MLB has done for Jackie Robinson; or teams have done for
individual players such as the Yankees and Babe Ruth, or Atlanta and
Hammerin Hank.

The number 3, for all intents and purposes, is retired. No one,
not even DEjr, should ever race that number again. I don't give a
shit one way or the other, but that's the way it should be. At
the height of the sport, we lost one of the best drivers there
ever was. They should just have a ceremony, retire it, and be
done with it. Actually, they should have already done it.

Bullshit. When I think of #3, I think of Junior Johnson, Fireball
Roberts, Buddy Baker and Ricky Rudd, all better drivers than Earnhick.

Earnhick drove the #2 and #15, anyway. So he died while driving Richard
Childress' old car number, so what?

I don't give a
shit one way or the other, but that's the way it should be. At

Tim Richmond was sorely missed.

I think he was talking about Davey Allison

It could mean that at some time or another,
he had mentioned he has no desire to run that number...

Hey, Dan, welcome back.

He has said he expects to run the 3. That's the point I was commenting
on, sideways, more or less.

N.
