Earned? Just because Dale Sr. drove the # 3 and died in it, doesn't
mean it is some holy relic or reward that must be "earned." It's just

Do red & black Chevy trucks come with "3" & "8" stickers as standard
equipment in the South? I hardly ever see one without them.
