No wonder so many are looking that way when they see Max Papis driving about
a dozen races for Waltrip and picking up near a million in prizemoney.

I like this....bring on the best drivers and lets see what they can
do. JPM has proven to be a quick learner. How much could Lewis
Hamilton do as a stock car driver?

Trulli is now saying that he requested Toyota to set this up for him
some time ago just so that he can experience driving a NASCAR car on
an oval. He says his focus is 100% on F1

================================================== ======================

you can't blame him
why not use his connections to have some fun.

I'm still waiting for Kyle Busch to get his turn in a Toyota F-1
car.8^)
I hope he gets a run this winter. Toyota will likely have a bunch of driver
test days in mind with all the seat changes going on.

He doesn't *need* to wallow in the mud of NASCAR. He's got a *real*
driving job - because he doesn't crash all the time - unlike how Montoya
was in F1.

I know the records won't back me up, but I still rate Montoya among the best
20 or 30 drivers to pilot an F1 car.

i agree with you on that, montoya was by far the best of all the
drivers who have been coming over from f1 and are trying to make it.
he was a top 5 performer in his f1 days, the guys coming over now are
traditionally backmarkers except villeneuve who won one championship,
but even he couldnt make it one race in cup.
