When the season begins they will have the chance to ban me five days a week.
I have a new way of doing that which is simplicity itself and does not
require multiple posts.

I have an even simpler way. Ban yourself for good. That doesn't require ANY
posts.

There needs to be at least some Nextel Cup posts in here to balance out the
anti-Bush rhetoric.

No, princess jeffy did NOT earn the most points. If he had, he
would be
the champ and not Kurt Busch. IIRC, princess jeffy was a HUGE
supporter
of the new format.

So was princess jeffy racing under a different point system? NO, get
over it.
Get over what? Read below stuff with >>. Nothing to get over. You equally
need to accept that JG earned the most points for racing results, but that's
not what it took to win the cup this year.

Quote:

Key phrase "earn". KB was gifted more than JG on race 27, hence KB
won. JG
earned more points for race results than any other driver. He just
didn't
get gifted as many as some others.

You really need to get over the FACT that princess jeffy LOST.
After
all, he WAS racing under the same rules as EVERYONE ELSE.

No argument there. KB won fair and square, in a contrived system.
But it's
his Cup.

BTW, princess jeffy will NOT win another championship.

You wish. Fervently I would say, but a wish nonetheless. I think he
will
win another, perhaps even more than one. But arguing about it now is
a
little bit pointless, only time will tell. To say that they person
with the
best average finish last year, the one that earned more points than
anyone
for his race finishes, can't win another championship, is wishful
thinking
at best.

Sure, he could win another Cup, but he won't. Anyone who thinks he is
the same princess jeffy that used to dominate NASCAR is deluding
themselves. His focus is obviously gone. Robbie Loomis is NOT the
problem, princess jeffy is.

Nobody here thinks it's going to go like it didin the glory days, or he
would win 10 championships before retirement. But 1 more? It will happen.
2 more? Maybe. 3 more? I doubt it very very much, but who knows.

Therer are around 5 drivers that will be contenders for the cup each of the
next 10 years or so. Whoever has the best luck (ie least DNFs) will get the
Cup each particular year. One of those years will probably be JG. He
doesn't have to dominate like he did in '98 to do it -- if he did, he would
never have won his 4th Cup, he's as good now as he was then. Which is
nowhere near as dominant as the late 90's, but neither is anyone else out
there. Soon we're going to have a string of 10 cups won by about 8 or 9
different drivers, due to parity, competition level, yadda yadda yadda. JG
will be one of them. But nobody is going to dominate like he once did, or
like DE once did, or like RP once did, ever again, until they radically
change the rules and the direction they are heading with them.

Jeff Gordon led the most laps and scored the most points once again in 2004.

He is the best there ever was and the best there ever will be.

Basketball guru Phil Jackson was once asked how he felt about Karl Malone
winning the NBA NVP vote over Michael Jordan one year. Phil Jackson said
something like "Michael Jordan has been the MVP of the NBA every year since
his second season."

The same can be said of Jeff Gordon.

Jeff Gordon drives a race car better than Mick Jagger sings a love song.
Better than Barry Bonds hits a baseball. Better than Veejay Sing hits a
golf ball. Better than Jennifer Aniston makes a pouty face. Better than
scumbag Laker rapes a hotel hostess.

Jeff Gordon is blessed and the NASCAR fans are blessed to watch him drive.

Both excellent songs.... Among my very favoritest, but I wouldn't classify
either as a "love" song. Love songs should be happy ~ not make you wanna
slit your wrists.

Try "Thank You" by Led Zeppelin as an example of the perfect love song by a
classic rocker.

That pretty well eliminates any country song.
