Default Red #3 Budweiser Car - 05-10-2007 , 12:58 PM

As predicted over a year ago, it'll be coming to a track near you next year.

You will just need to find out which owners own which numbers. Sure glad I
don't have an 8 tat.

While it would "look" funny, that's the best guess I've heard today.

BUT, Junior sounded sincere when he said he didn't know where he was
going to go. I think he'd have 'hemmed and hawwed' a little more if he
was already aligned with RC to jump into one of his cars.

Also BUT, it could be like a marriage. Prevailing stats say that one
or the other (husband or wife) typically won't walk out on a
(otherwise non-abusive) marriage until they already have a replacement
partner lined up and waiting. Seen it. Bunches of it sadly. So he
could be playing coy for the moment, until he can find an "out" for
any DEI people that he may want to bring with him to his new team,
whoever it may be...since he is the only one "big" enough in stature
to just stand up and say"That's it. I'm done. I'm leaving." His future
is fine money-wise if he never races again, something that is usually
not true of the support personel and is why THAT will become a
sticking point in the very near future on this whole deal.

I think it will happen as soon as the season is over. It's destiny and the
planets are aligning so it can happen now. Even I might jump on the Junior
bandwagon when he fields the red #3 Bud car.

He can say whatever he wants today. He'll be in the 3 next year.

I JUST don't think Jr feels comfortable with the idea of driving his
father's number, which would be for RCR for the foreseeable future. I could
be wrong, but I given his comments and facial expressions when asked, I
don't think it's there...which saddens me as I would love to see Jr driving
the 3 car again. Only someone with the last name Earnhardt would be
acceptable, someone with the last name Earnhardt and first name Dale would
be an obvious choice, but I don't see it happening, even IF Jr lands in the
RCR camp.

My 'spidey-sense' is tingling and saying Gibbs. We shall see...

Sux, I'm going to have to rebumper and re-window my SUV come
November...except for the Black 3, which stays.

RCR has repeatedly said that if Junior ever wants a ride there is one
waiting for him (4th car?) and if Junior goes the route of forming his
own Cup team, RCR can give him the #3 anytime he wishes.
