Default Rivalries - 05-09-2007 , 03:02 PM

Rivalries
Apparently there are some today.
Kahne-Stremme feud still sticky after recent wreck
Two drivers scheduled for photo appearance Thursday
By Joe Menzer, NASCAR.COM
May 9, 2007

In a video clip that quickly climbed in popularity on the Internet,
Kahne blamed Stremme for causing the wreck that took both
drivers prematurely out of the race. Stremme ended up with a 38th-place finish,
and Kahne, who has had a difficult year, ended up 40th.

"We kept working on the car to get it better and better, but I got back there to
battling with Stremme and those guys," Kahne said on the clip. "My car was
better, but everywhere I went, Stremme went. So I was just confused where he was going.
"I don't know. He's pretty fat and out of shape. That's probably half the reason.
It was pretty late in the race. He was probably pretty worn out."

CRU: IMHO KK did a slide job on Dave & in the process
ended any chance of making The Chase.

I'm not sure of what to think of The Penske Camp
after Lee Spencer's less-than-quotable article:
NASCAR notes: Penske teams show good signs

So what's caused the turn around?
The two cars are working closely together for the first time in a long time.
CRU: Is Lee recalling the Newman-Wallace 'war' or does she mean a Newman-Busch war?

Observation made on INCR was that Stremme was up close to the wall, and as the
slo-mo rolled, now he's not...wunnademracindeals...both at fault, and it hurt KK
more than Stremme.

Definitely a ref to Rusty doing his own thing and leaving Ryan on his own.
