I think Robby got robbed, but he disputed Nascar's call in a
disgraceful way - "double burnout?" That was totally unprofessional.
Disregarding the black flag? So was that.

I was fine with Robby trying to assume his place in the lineup, but I sure
wish he had not done the burnout.

Ambrose really needed to look as good as possible. He screwed up the
race so badly that it will be remembered as a NASCAR disaster.

excellent point. I kept waiting for the cameras to pick it up, but
right before the pass, there was no damage to Ambrose's car.

And what difference would that have made? "Rubbing" cars out of the way
is the NASCAR way.

It also would have been during a yellow, which is NOT allowed.

1 - Since when is contact prohibited by NASCAR?

It would have happened during the yellow or right before. This is
importand and relevant since we are forced to take the word of a known

I've got no problem with Gordons pass on Ambrose. I would have been a
great finish to watch those two race. It was the spiteful response
when it went green that I dont like.

Like that's never happened before. And gone "unnoticed" by NASCAR.

Ummm....Wrong. He was leading when the caution came out.

Right around the same time Ambrose's car got rear end damage and Robby
was ahead of him. Within seconds of the yellow or right after. They
did not have good camera angles and per NASCAR rules, you are scored
from teh most recent scoring loop, which in Robby's case would have
been 2nd. He was probably moved to 13th for two reasons, one being
that he may have passed under the yellow

Doubtful that would have happened on his own. It clearly was a deal
he had to work out to save face in lieu of additional suspensions.

I wonder how many PR guys Robby has working for him. That is at least
a 5 person job with lots of OT.
