yawn.

Nice comments by Kasey about N$'s "phantom debris cautions", lol.
Do you suppose he'll get "the call" from Helton tonight?
They f*cked Jeremy for speaking his mind, why not Kasey?

They can't afford to. He's too popular.

I loved that Kasey spoke up. It's about time. The next-to-last
caution is purely for closing up the field.

I was watching Hot Pass (JG channel), so didn't see any closeup of the
debris - does ESPN/ABC show the debris when there's a debris caution
close to the end of the race? I know Fox tried hard last year to show
all the debris.

It does not seem to be something ESPN makes any particular effort
to do. Whether that's intentional or just a lack of skill on
ESPN's part is debatable.

Speaking of JJ, there is one thing he cannot do, and that is restart
as well as his HMS teammates. JG beats him every time they're side by
side, and JJ usually spins his wheels. Unfortunately, it doesn't
matter, usually.

On JG's radio, during the HotPass transmissions, JG asked Steve about
the "...rule about spinning the tires on a restart?" or something
like that...maybe about holding back on a restart, which had been a
common ploy at the restrictor plate races until Nascar put a stop to
it. I recall some issue like this a few years ago, but didn't hear
anything more on JG's radio during this race.
