Clearly, since Mouth Waltrip was traveling alone in the Toyota, he wasn't
out with his wife. No mention is made of her in any of the articles.
Another woman is mentioned in the articles. I'm thinking all of this
evidence points to Michael Waltrip having an affair with the un-named young
lady in the articles. The excuse that she feared retribution by Waltrip's
fans does not hold up. Hell, everyone knows he doesn't have any fans. I
think that was just a cover for the fact that the two of them were together
when that cop showed up at the door. I think the cop knew they were
together and being a pretty cool guy, decided there was nothing so serious
about the incident to warrant interrupting the couple, so he just left word
for Waltrip to contact him later. Now, the question does arise - why
8:00PM? What was that cop doing between the hours of 2:00AM and 8:00PM?
And, where was Buffy...

I think there's some pretty strong evidence pointing to some pretty sordid
affairs here.

My guess is she was at home hiding from utility poles.
