The moment that USC became a favorite, I knew that they were doomed. My bro
in law will be sick in bed for days after this. Hubby is already hoarse

Well, I would have liked to see USC win because it is just up the road, but it
was a very good game. Either deserved to win. There was a bad call that gave TX
an advantage but that happens.

We kept the faith all the way into the final seconds of the 4th quarter.
We knew that Vince could do it. Why he didn't win the Heisman is
'curious'.

41-38 and we are the National Champions again! The 35yrs in between
Championships was....a tad long though. The State of Texas is proud of
our Longhorns! EVERYONE here in Austin is estatic. Big grins all over
the place!
