If you have a passion for that _one_ car I think you will relate to
this.

that seems just like something i would love to watch, when is it out?

It's showing at the Melbourne Film Festival this week, and they mention
some
New Zealand cinemas on the site but you can order it on DVD so assume
it
wont be getting a wide release.

I'm a bit of a Bana fan and saw him mention it in an interview about
his
latest movie Funny People and have to admit to downloading it by
torrent
from mininova but I liked it so much I plan to drop it as a hint for a
fathers day present this year.

where did you download this from? i would love to watch this ASAP, and
get it on dvd whenever it makes it's way "Across the pond"

He downloaded the torrent fromwww.mininova.comAre you familiar with
torrents?
a little, no pro though.

----------------

This site had a direct download link for it, but they want you to signup to
do it so I haven't tried it that way myself

http://nowtorrents.com/torrents/love-the-beast.html

Otherwise, if you haven't got a torrent client, there is a nice small simple
one here: http://utorrent.com/ Just download, run it once and follow a
prompt or two to set it up, then just click the download link on mininova
(in other post) and utorrent will respond asking you where you want to save
it... you pretty much don't need to worry about any other settings really.

You have to be VERY careful with torrents....especially videos. Some
people like to upload viruses and spyware in them. It's best to scan the
folder with your antivirus and anti-spyware programs before opening it
(right click on the folder and choose the program).

Using uTorrent you will find the folder in your documents under
"downloads".

Also, to watch it on your computer you will need a player. I use the GOM
player.

http://www.gomlab.com/eng/GMP_download.html

I download 95% of my torrents from www.isohunt.com because people leave
feedback about the downloads.

just finished watching it, great movie! i wish cars today had
character like they did back then, kids like me end up with "A to B"
cars, and will never put the heart into the car like Bana did because
kids today get a corolla or civic or something else with no heart beat
to it. Out in the boonies where i live, most kids drive trucks though
and there is something you can feel in a truck, I'm still driving my
first car, a Jeep Cherokee, and on the road it's nothing, just another
car in the line driving down the highway. It's when you take it off-
road though, at a buddy's farm, flying down trails, getting stuck, or
helping out a stuck friend, that is where I've created a bond with my
car.

Wheels are wheels when you first start driving. It's definitely what you do
in them and who you do it with that builds the bond more than the car. My
first car was a very beat-up Ford XA ute (similar front end shape as Bana's
but a model earlier.) Because we could fit 3 in the front and another 4 or 5
in the back I was always the 'party-taxi' when we went anywhere... and
because it was so beat up anyway we used to take it camping and hunting into
places I wouldn't think about trying in a 4WD with hindsight. After watching
that movie I really wish I had it back... it would be awesome restored and
like Bana's car, I feel like it deserves it after being such a great
'campfire' too.
