I am in the small percentage of fans who neither worship, nor despise
Jr. *I think he comes across as a decent guy, I have only been

critique his driving skills. I actually sympathize with him, in that
he is sort of in a no-win situation. People say he is only here
because of his name, and resent him for not being as good as Sr.
Having that last name has got to be a huge burden, regardless of the
benefits it has provided for him. That being said, he missed his stall
AGAIN last week in the NW race. He was quoted saying " We didn't talk
about where my stall was, so I didn't even know". He has had trouble
finding his stall all year. He said "I got on pit road for the first
stop and din't even know where my stall was. I got behind a couple of
guys and never saw my sign, and just missed it." How can you defend
those statements? I really want to pull for the guy, but WTF? Isn't
that the equivalent of a QB not knowing anything about the defense? I
applaud his honesty, but that is scary stuff! Does he not even care
enought to consider looking ahead to know where he pits? Is his
organization that poor that no one is smart enough to realize that he
has to be told such basic important info? I root for the guy, but
after reading this, I am starting to believe he just doesn't give a
shit. Sean

I like Jr. but I think his wave has crested.

He seems to have lost whatever he had after his wreck in the Vette a
few years ago.

What he lost, was TES. 16 wins with TES, and 2 with TUJ.
I agree with this statement. I think the CC needs to change. Maybe
not back to TES, but certainly TEJ does not belong on the top of the
box during the race.

I also agree with (I think it was...) DAVE that Junior isn't as good
as Ky. Busch. However, I like Junior better. Seems a nice enough
guy. Kyle is the guy I love to hate though. Love to watch him drive,
hate to see him win.

That's about all that really needs to be said....

I see someone has predicted Kyle will beat the King's record - I'm not
sure that's doable - especially if we're talking Cup wins. What do
you think? Even if he wins 7 a year (starting with year 1), that
would take 28 years - I think even for Kyle, that would be asking a
lot, especially with the ever-increasing level of competition.

N.
You are mistaken....someone emailed into the "Home Depot" show and asked
if KyB would be the one to surpass "The Silver Foxes" record of 105
wins. He is a LONG way away from that! JG is the only one right now that
should be mentioned when it comes to that.

NO one will ever win 200 races, unless they start running 2-3 races a wk
again.

Why is it always about KyB?

I don't see anyone else beating KyB either.
I guess it's because Kyle was released from HMS to make room for DEJ.

I'm not sure.. but i think Kyle realizes that as well.
I think he would be happy with 200 NASCAR wins,
not necessarily cup wins... I think that is what he meant..

You heard KyB say that?

All I saw / heard was an email from a fan asking if KyB would surpass
DP's 105 wins.

http://www.cbssports.com/autoracing/story/11703513/rss (said the same
thing on N Now today too)

When he was reeling off victories at a record pace last season, Busch
said that 200 in his career was his goal.

But even he knows despite flying high now that might be a lofty expectation.

"It could if I can keep this pace up," he smiled. "But I know the older
I get I'll start slowing down some way. You know, hopefully I can
achieve that goal. It would be sure nice to get that. I know it's not
200 Cup victories like Richard Petty has. It will still be a phenomenal
mark for me."

"I don't know how long I'll be in the Truck Series or Nationwide Series,
but hopefully for as long as [owner] Joe [Gibbs] will let me in the
Truck Series, and as long as there's a Nationwide car at Joe Gibbs that
we can run, I'll be there running races and fulfilling some duties and
deals there."
