only gets worse. At least I think it does - I really can't remember
what it was like to have a working memory.

I am 44. So not a spring chicken anymore. Yep - memory gets worse. I
wonder if there are a maximum number of things you can remember, then your
brain starts purging.

I'm 52. I don't remember being 44.

Amazing that our resident RASN Asker gave a RASN Answer:
It's our innermost spiders/arachnoids that cause it:

When a brain aneurysm ruptures, the result is called a subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Depending on the severity of the hemorrhage, brain damage or death may result.

Blame it on Spiders (or cobwebs?) Marlow!
CRU must write things down shortly after they occur.
IF i don't, i can only speculate on when an event occurred.
I refuse to rely on my memory to state facts!
Well, most of the time anyway

I'll blame it on anything Cru - but I'm like you, if I don't write it down
pretty quickly, it's gone.

I was commenting
on Janal's painting with a broad brush, especially the comment where
he says that Stewart witll race at every opportunity. He does race
often, but not at every opportunity, to be sure.

Too true - you look at the old time drivers, like Bobby Allison,
and then you'd see what "racing at every opportunity" meant (not
that history is Janal's strong point, of course). Even Shrader,
who's a bit of a throwback, doesn't race 3 and 4 times a week
like some of the 70's drivers did.

John
Donnie Allison placed 4th in the Indy 500 in 1970. He also won the 1970
World 600.
AJ Foyt and Mario Andretti both won the Daytona 500 and the Indy 500.
Pretty diverse talent. Tony Stewart is the closest thing we have to that
today.
